The Jerico Bed/Breakfast Main House History Aaron Moore acquired the farm on the fourth of December 1865, during the time period of the Civil War. The Main House was built in 1900 by John William Moore, he was one of four brothers, in a family of seven children, who were descendants of the great pioneer, Moses Moore, who settled in Pocahontas County around 1760. The Moses Moore Marker is located near birthplace on route 92 In 1991, the original house was remodeled by the great nephew of John, Thomas Moses Moore Jr., owner/operator of the Jerico Bed/Breakfast |
